    Default Timequest waveform window has disappeared

    All,

    Maybe I am doing something daft but my Timequest waveform and path windows have disappeared. I have just upgraded to Q11.1 SP2 from Q10.1SP1.

    Normally I would do...

    1)Report Setup Summary

    create_timing_summary -setup -panel_name "Summary (Setup)"

    2) Then report timing on the failing paths

    report_timing -to_clock { scl_clk_int } -setup -npaths 10 -detail full_path -show_routing -panel_name {Setup: scl_clk_int}

    I normally expect a list of each path to come up with the waveform and full path showing you the delays for the data required and data arrival paths. This is not coming up. All I see is what is on the picture I have attached.

    When I go back to 10.1, the waveform and path windows are missing from there also.

    Anyone seen this or know how to get it back.

    Default Re: Timequest waveform window has disappeared

    Found it...

    The waveform window had been hidden (goodness knows how). I managed to retrieve it by going to the bottom of the summary window where the mouse pointer changes to the drag up and down icon. If you pull it up it actually pulls the waveform window back up rather than dragging the whole window upwards.

    Might be a good idea to make this part of the GUI more intuitive or have a pull down menu option to unhide the waveform window.
